The Cochranville Fire Company Holds Annual Banquet

On Saturday, March 10th 2007, the Cochranville Fire Company held their annual banquet
at the Lancaster Host Resort. The night started out with a social hour followed by dinner
and awards. President of the Cochranville Fire Company, Steve Murphy, presented the
President's Award to Dennis Keenan. Chief 27, Rob Linnenbaugh, presented the Fire
Fighter of the Year award to Kim "Gumby" Harvey. Fire Fighters Dave Arroyo and Nancy
Astheimer were recognized for their increased call response from the previous year. Chief
27 gave out the awards to the Top 10 Fire responders, with Dean Hoopes Sr. being the top
responder for the year 2006. The QRS Captain, Kim "Gumby," gave out the awards to the
Top 5 QRS responders, with Latta Dain Null being the top responder for the year 2006.
After the program music was provided, and everyone danced the night away.
The Cochranville Fire Company would like to thank the Banquet Committee for a great job
planning the banquet. We would also like to thank Avondale Fire Company (Station 23)
and Twin Valley Fire Department (Station 69) for standing by at our station and covering
our area for the night.
