COCHRANVILLE FIRE COMPANY

A letter from the Cochranville Fire Company
Dear Friend & Neighbor,
Last year your donation assisted us in the purchase of our new 2006 Pierce Arrow XT Heavy Duty Rescue
Truck, which replaced our 1980 Peterbilt Rescue truck. Since placing this unit in service, it has been a great
asset to our community and surrounding neighbors.
In order, to maintain the present level of fire and emergency protection in our community, we must keep our
apparatus and equipment in perfect operating condition. The contributions we receive from you through this
2007 fund drive will be used towards maintaining our equipment, as well as, purchasing new and improved
tools and equipment, the firefighters protective gear and fire prevention materials that we use and distribute
to our local schools and the community.
PLEASE REMEMBER: Emergency service in our community is maintained on a 24 hour - 365 days a year
basis. It is performed by a group of dedicated VOLUNTEERS. We give freely of our time, not only in
responding to emergency calls, but in performing many other necessary functions, such as training, fire
prevention programs, maintenance of the fire, rescue and EMS equipment and other fund-raisers that we
hold throughout the year.
With your generous support in 2007, we will be able to continue to provide the best possible protection to you
and your family. We greatly appreciate and are thankful for your current and past support. Thank You!
Sincerely,
The Officers and Members of the Cochranville Fire Company
