Auto Accident on Route 896

Friday, July 20th, 2007 at 0817 hours, the Cochranville Fire Company, The Union Fire
Company of Oxford (Station 21) for an Engine, Rescue and Ambulance 21-2, along with
Medic 94-1 were alerted for an auto accident reported serious at Route 896 and Ray Mar
Road in Upper Oxford Township.  A caller reported that three vehicles were involved and
they were in the roadway.  SkyCare1 was put on standby and Medic 94-2 was also called to
the scene.  Chief 27 arrived on scene and reported that it was a two vehicle collision with
one vehicle in the road way.  There were three patients with no major injuries.  SkyCare1,
Medic 94-1, Medic 94-2, and all Station 21 units were recalled with the exception of
Ambulance 21-2.  Patients were transported to Christiana Hospital.  All units returned
available by 0900 hours.
