Auto Accident on Route 41 and Route 796

Friday, August 24th, 2007 at 1609 hours, the Cochranville Fire Company and Ambulance
22-1 were alerted for an auto accident at Route 41 and Route 796 in Londonderry
Township.  Within minutes, Medic 94 was added with the report of one of the two vehicles
being overturned.  

When Engine 27-1, Ambulance 22-3, and Medic 94-1 arrived on scene, they added another
BLS unit and put SkyFlightCare on standby.  SkyCare was told to fly and arrived on scene
at 1639 hours.

Ambulance 22-3 transported one patient to Jennersville Regional Hospital.  SkyCare
transported one patient to Christiana Hospital.  

While the crews were cleaning up and fire police were still directing traffic, at 1716 hours
the Cochranville Fire Company was alerted for an automatic fire alarm at the Octorara
High School in West Fallowfield Township.  All 27 units from the accident scene with the
exception of Traffic 27 responded.  All units returned available at 1729 hours.
