Serious Accident on Schoff Road

Sunday, March 9th, 2008 at 1458 hours, the Cochranville Fire Company, Ambulance 5-2-2,
Medic 93-1 and Medic 94-2 were alerted for an auto accident in front of 1863 Schoff Road
in West Fallowfield Township.
Captain Hoopes responded at 1502 hours and Engine 27-1 responded a minute later.
Chester County fire board advised that there were multiple patients, one of which with a
head injury and others with lacerations. With that report, Captain 27 requested two
additional ambulances to the scene (Ambulance 28-2 and Ambulance 44.) He arrived on
scene at 1506 hours and set up "Schoff Road Command."
Engine 27-1 arrived on scene at 1511 hours and Rescue 27 at 1512 hours. After all patients
were boarded and collared, crews cleaned the debris off the roadway.
Ambulance 28-2 and Ambulance 5-2-2 transported patients to Lancaster General
Hospital.
QRS 27 and Fire Police Lieutenant, Sam Zook, handled traffic control.
All 27 units cleared the scene and returned available by 1606 hours.
