Serious Collision on Homeville Road

Wednesday, March 19th, 2008 at 1211 hours, the Cochranville Fire Company, an Engine
from the Atglen Fire Company (Station 26,) Lancaster County Ambulance 5-2-1 and Medic
94 were alerted for a motor vehicle collision on Homeville Road in the area of King Road
in West Fallowfield Township.
Engine 27-1 arrived on scene at 1218 hours reporting one vehicle verses an ATV off of the
roadway. Rescue 27 arrived on scene two minutes later.
Crews from both units prepared the patient for the ambulance. Due to the rainy weather,
no helicopters in the area would fly, so the patient had to be transported by ambulance.
After Ambulance 5-2-1 and Medic 94 units arrived on scene the patient was loaded on to
the ambulance and transported to Lancaster General Hospital.
All 27 units cleared the scene by 1301 hours.
