Auto Accident in Upper Oxford Township

Monday, April 14th, 2008 at 1454 hours, the Cochranville Fire Company along with the
Union Fire Company of Oxford and Medic 94 were dispatched to the 2200 block of Edenton
Rd in Upper Oxford Township for an auto accident reported serious.
Engine 27-1 went en-route at 1458 and was advised that there was one vehicle into a pole
up an embankment. Rescue 27 went en-route at 1502 as Engine 27-1 was arriving
on-scene.
The engine reported the accident to be in front of 1609 Limestone Rd just south of
Edenton Road. The engine crew split up to handle patient care, traffic control, and
hazards.
Ambulance 21-3 arrived on-scene and took over patient care. Engine 27-1 recalled the
apparatus from the Union Fire Company along with the second unit from Medic 94.
Ambulance 21-3 and Medic 94-1 transported one patient to Christiana Hospital.
All 27 units cleared the scene at 1516.
