Standby Crew Helps Cover Collision

Thursday, July 24th, 2008, at 1858 hours, during the carnival, the Cochranville Fire Company,
Ambulance 28 and Medic 94 were alerted for an auto accident at Gum Tree Road and Friends
Meeting House Road
in Highland Township.

Rescue 27 and Lancaster County Engine 4-10-1 responded
to the call and were on scene at 1905
hours.

Engine 4-10-1 report
ed a two vehicle accident with two patients.  Medic 94 was recalled.

Captain Hoopes assumed “Gum Tree Command.”

Westwood Ambulance 44 responded in place of Parkesburg Ambulance 28 and transported two
patients to Jennersville Regional Hospital .   

All units returned available by 1955 hours.
