Fire Police Assist Oxford with Entrapment

Friday, May 22nd, 2009 at 1428 hours, the Cochranville Fire Company was alerted for fire police to
assist the Union Fire Company #1 of Oxford, on the 1100 block of Limestone Road in Upper Oxford
Township.

Chief Terry arrived on scene of a mini van and tractor trailer collision with two people trapped.  He
then assumed “Route 10 Command” at 1431 hours.

At 1432 hours, the Cochranville Fire Company was also alerted for Engine 27-1 to assist by setting
up the Landing Zone for the helicopter.

Engine 1 arrived on scene at 1443 hours, after SkyFlight Care had already landed.  The engine was
recalled, then rerouted to help with traffic control at Route 10 and Old Limestone Road .

All 27 units returned available at 1630 hours.
