Standby at Station 23
Sunday, February 11th, 2007
It was an early morning for many
firefighters around our area. At 0530
hours Engine 27-5 was called to
stand-by at Avondale Station 23 with
Belvedere Fire Company (Wilmington,
DE.) Avondale had been called out to
a house fire in New Garden Township.
After a few hours at Station 23, both
crews were called to the scene to help
clean up. After clean up, the stand-by
crews followed Avondale's units home,
to help prepare the engines for the
next use.
