House Fire in Highland Township

March 12th, 2007 at 1034 hours, the Cochranville Fire Company was alerted for a house
fire along with Parkesburg (Station 28) and Westwood (Station 44) on Humpton Road in
Highland Township. Battalion Chief McWilliams from Station 44 arrived on scene first at
1042 hours and notified us that smoke was coming from the attached garage. Chief Sly
arrived and took "Humpton Road Command" until we arrived. Engine 27-5 arrived on
scene at 1045 hours and started on fire attack through the house. The fire was held to the
garage. Once the fire was under control, all Station 28 and Station 44 units were
available. All 27 units cleared the scene and were available at 1309 hours.
