House Fire on Fawn Road

Saturday, June 23rd, 2007, at 1446 hours, the Cochranville Fire Company, the West Grove
Fire Company (Station 22) and a tanker from the Avondale Fire Company (Station 23)
were alerted for a house fire at 306 Fawn Road in Londonderry Township. Calls came in
from neighbors reporting that the deck was on fire and that they were trying to put it out.
Ambulance 22-1 went on scene reporting that the fire had been knocked down by the
neighbors. Ambulance 22-1, Engine 22, Engine 27-5 and Engine 12-1 remained on scene.
Crews from West Grove and Cochranville hosed down hot spots and checked for extension
to the residence. Engine 27-5 remained on scene until the arrival of FM 103 and the home
owner, all 12 & 22 units were released. Engine 27-5 cleared the scene by 1631 hours.
