Chimney Fire on Steelville Road

Wednesday, January 16th, 2008 at 1833 hours, the Cochranville Fire Company, an engine
from Atglen Fire Company and Ambulance 5-2-1 were alerted for a chimney fire on the
2200 block of Steelville Road in West Fallowfield Township.
The caller stated that they saw flames from the chimney, but that they don’t see them
anymore.
Engine 27-3 and Engine 26-1 were en route at 1835 hours and Engine 27-5 and Ambulance
5-2-1 at 1839 hours.
Engine 27-3 arrived on scene at 1840 hours, notified that nothing was showing from side
“A” and set up “Steelville Command”
Firefighters checked the chimney to make sure that it was no longer on fire and checked
the house for any heat or extension.
All units cleared the scene by 1940 hours.
