Assist West Grove with a Dwelling

Sunday, January 27th, 2008 at 2134 hours, the West Grove Fire Company along with two
engines from Aetna Hose Hook & Ladder of Newark, and a tanker from Avondale Fire
Company were alerted for a house fire on the 1400 block of Flint Hill Road in London
Britain Township.
The caller reported that the fire was on the roof and that they believed it started from the
chimney.
The Cochranville Fire Company was alerted for one engine to relocate to West Grove Fire
Company's Station 12 along with Tanker 26. Not long after engine 27-3 went en route to
Station 12, at 2217 hours, the house fire was upgraded to the 2nd alarm. With that,
Cochranville's Engine 27-5 and Rescue 27 were added. Both units went en route at 2221
hours and were on scene at 2241 hours.
Cochranville's crews helped with overhaul and filling air bottles.
All 27 units returned available by 0120 hours.
