Goat Shelter Fire in Highland Township

Thursday, March 27th, 2008 at 1156 hours, the Cochranville Fire Company was alerted for
a trash fire on the 400 block of Gum Tree Road in Highland Township. FM 45 was on scene
reporting a chicken coop fire.
Engine 27-1 went en route with 5 at 1201 hours and arrived on scene to find a 10' x 20' area
on fire including a goat shelter and hay.
The fire was put under control at 1217 hours.
Engine 27-1 returned available by 1252 hours.
Luckily no animals were injured in the fire.
