Building Fire in West Caln Township

Saturday, April 12th at 1448 hours, the Cochranville Fire Company was dispatched for
Engine 27-5 to relocate to Station 34 (Martins Corner Fire Department) while they were
operating on a building fire.
The Engine responded at 1454 hours. As the engine was approaching the intersection of
Routes 10 and 30, the assignment was changed to respond to the fire scene on the 400
block of Hill Road in West Caln Township along with Lancaster County Tanker 3-2.
Engine 27-5 arrived on scene at 1512 hours along with Tanker 3-2. Once on scene, the
engine crew went onto the fire scene to help with fire suppression and overhaul. The
engine supplied 3,000 gallons of water to assist with the fire suppression.
Engine 27-5 was released from the scene at 1628 hours. The crew returned to the station
and cleaned up the engine just in time to help prepare for the Fabulous Hubcaps Concert.
