Assist Oxford with a House Fire

Monday, December 7th, 2009 at 1405 hours, the Union Fire Company #1 of Oxford, West Grove
Station 12 and the Cochranville Fire Company were dispatched to the 100 block of Hall Road for a
House Fire.


Chief 21 arrived on scene with smoke showing and requested the working fire dispatch.

he Union Fire Company #1 of Oxford, West Grove Station 12 and the Cochranville Fire Company
were re alerted along with
Cecil County Station 8, West Grove Station 22, Lancaster County Station
5-1 (Bart) and Medic 94
who were added to the assignment.

Chief 21 informed crews that there was possible entrapment.

Engine 27-1 responded at 1421 hours, followed by Rescue 27 at 1422.

Rescue 27 arrived on scene and was advised that they would be the Rapid Intervention Team
along with Engine 27-1’s crew.


After the fire was knocked down and the secondary search was completed, it was confirmed that
there was negative entrapment at 1434.


Chief 21 released all 27 units at 1518.
