COCHRANVILLE FIRE COMPANY
A Busy Day
Tuesday, February 20th, 2007
Today was a busy one for the members of "Da Ville." We went from call to call.
1st Call: At 1047 hours, the Cochranville Fire Company was dispatched for a multi
vehicle accident reported with entrapment. From Oxford we had assistance from
Rescue 21 and Ambulance 21-2. We also had Medic 94-1, 94-2 and 94-3. Engine 27-1
came in response to stand by for the helicopter landing. The patient was flown by Sky
Flight Care to Lancaster General Hospital. At 1149 hours we were heading back towards
the station to clean up while Engine 27-1 stayed with it's crew to help with traffic
control.

2nd Call: Before we could even make it back to the station in the Rescue from the 1st call,
we were dispatched to assist Lancaster County Station 5-2 at 1205 hours. We made it back
to the station to switch to Engine 27-5. After that, we went on our way to help with the
house fire on Jackson Road. There wasn't much for us to do there, so we went on our way
back to the station at 1231 hours.

3rd Call: Once again, before we made it back to station with either Engine 27-1 from the
first call or Engine 27-5 from the second call, at 1243 hours we were dispatched for
another multi vehicle accident on Bryson Road. Engine 27-1 went in response from the
first call while the crew from Engine 27-5 went back to station to switch back to Rescue 27.
Ambulance 28-2 transported one patient to Lancaster General Hospital.
