After many hours of cleaning the apparatus to prepare for the parade, the day had finally
come. Saturday, May 26th, 2007 at 1030 hours, members of the Cochranville Fire
Company took Rescue 27 and QRS 27 to Westwood (Station 44) for their housing and to
participate in their parade. Both pieces of apparatus were judged along with many
others. QRS 27 took home the 2nd place trophy for Best Appearing and Equipped QRS
Vehicle. Rescue 27 took home the 2nd place trophy for Best Appearing and Equipped
Heavy Rescue.
The Cochranville Fire Company would like to congratulate the Westwood Fire Company
on their 60th anniversary. We would also like to thank them for letting us be one of their
eight housing companies.
Thank you to all of the members that helped prepare for this event.
