Touring the New Octorara Intermediate School

Monday, April 7th, 2008 at 1900 hours the Cochranville Fire Company met with Dale Miller to tour
the new Octorara Intermediate School. As a firefighter, it is important to know everything you can
about the buildings in your area. While walking through the school, members were shown where
the Knox box was, the possible ways to enter or exit the school, how to get onto the roof through
the school and where the locate the elevator. We learned all of which along with other important
information about the school that night. After touring the new school we were also shown the
school district's maintenance building.
