

Fire Experience 2008
When: Friday, June 13th and Saturday, June 14th 2008
Where: Christiana Fire Company
Children will experience various rescue and fire demonstrations on both days. Local Companies
will provide basic fire safety as well as instructional training. A field day is scheduled for Saturday
afternoon for the children to demonstrate everything that they had learned during the camp.
Local fire/ambulance organizations participating are: Christiana, Parkesburg, Atglen,
Cochranville, Gap, Parkesburg Ambulance, Christiana Ambulance, Sky Flight Care
FRIDAY, JUNE 13
- Registered campers will receive their camp t-shirts. Camp t-shirts should be worn on
Saturday, June 14th.
SATURDAY, JUNE 14
- CAMPERS SHOULD ARRIVE AROUND 8:30 AM FOR CHECK-IN AND BREAKFAST.
- Campers should wear camp t-shirt, play shorts or pants and sneakers.
- Children will sign in Saturday morning and receive a wristband that will have their group
number on it. ALL CAMPERS MUST HAVE A WRISTBAND TO PARTICIPATE IN ACTIVITIES AND
RECEIVE THEIR MEALS.
- Children will be divided into groups by ages. This will determine the degree of involvement in
the activities. Wristband will indicate to camp personnel the age group.
- Saturday breakfast & lunch is free for campers and registered volunteers.
- Public is welcomed for the awards/closing ceremony
(Parents are welcomed to stay. Adult Volunteers are needed.)
