Memorial Day Parade in Kennett

Monday, May 26th, 2008 members of the Cochranville Fire Company and Rescue 27 participated in
the Kennett Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5467 annual Memorial Day Parade.
Rescue 27 lined up with other fire and EMS apparatus from Kennett, West Grove, Avondale,
Westwood, Po-Mar-Lin, and Longwood Fire Companies. The parade route went through the
Kennett Square Borough and was watched by many.
After the parade, the Rescue returned at Cochranville to be put back in service, then members
returned to Kennett Fire Company's annual Memorial Day picnic.
Thank you to the Kennett Fire Company for the food, refreshments and hospitality.
