Cochranville Fire Company's 2008 Carnival

The Cochranville Fire Company held it's annual carnival July 23rd - July 26th and July 30 - August
2nd. Wednesday July 23rd was rained out. There were many other threats of rain, however none
came.
The Cochranville Fire Company would like to thank those that came to the carnival, helped with
setup, take down and throughout the carnival. We would also like to thank the stand by
companies. Those included apparatus from: West Grove, Oxford, Avondale, Christiana (LanCo.,)
Kennett, Atglen, Parkesburg, Witmer (LanCo.,) Longwood and many others.
The winners of the 2008 prizes are as follows:
Quilt – Ron Mower, Paradise PA
Storage Shed – Mike Boninu, Pomeroy PA
Freezer / $500 Lapps Meat certificate – Tom Price, Oxford
Gas Grill – Joseph Marfice, Coatesville
Plasma TV – Maryellen Young, Coatesville
Mower/Tractor – Josh Laffey, Cochranville
ATV or Generator – Marie Cook, Cochranville
Mustang or Harley or cash – Chuck Carter, Oxford
