Members Practice Hose Line Advancement

Monday, August 27th, 2007, members of the Cochranville Fire Company gathered together
to practice hose line advancement.
The Members that were going to be participating in this event were split into three groups.
The first group included those that had used the air packs before. While that group was
going through the maze to boost their confidence on how to advance a hose line and gain
nozzle time, Deputy Lapp was showing the newer members how to use our air packs.
While all three groups were going through the maze, drivers got the chance to practice
with the pumps on Engine 27-3. Lieutenant 27A, Mike Trainor, Jared Null and QRS
Captain, Kim Harvey, were timing this event and giving the participants advice as they
were guiding them through the maze.
