Saturday, January 19th, 2008 at 0800 hours, members of the Cochranville Fire Company
met at the fire house to get the probationary and minor members more acquainted with
the fire apparatus along with practicing with ropes and knots.  Officers, drivers and other
members also showed up to practice and to help throughout the morning.  Members were
split into groups.  Each group had a driver and officer to help with review of the
apparatus.  When all groups were finished, they were each given a tool, tools or piece of
equipment to find on a specific truck.

At the end of the morning, the junior members under 16 years old got to ride on Rescue 27
for the first time.
