Auto Accident
Route 41 and Derry Meeting Road

On July 1st at 09:54 Cochranville Fire Company and an ambulance from West Grove Fire Company were dispatched to the intersection of Derry Meeting Road and Route 41 for a vehicle accident.

Deputy 27 responded at 10:00 followed by Engine 27-1 at 10:00 with a crew of 5 and Rescue 27 at 10:04 with a crew of 5.

Deputy 27 arrived on scene at 10:03 to find a two vehicle accident with one on its side with all occupants out.

Engine 27-1 arrived on scene at 10:04 and started patient care, fluid clean up on the roadway and traffic control. Rescue 27 arrived on scene at 10:08 and took over traffic control. Crews then worked together along with Ambulance 22 to package and load patients.

Deputy 27 assumed Route 41 Command at 10:17

Crews remained on scene until both vehicles had been towed and the roadway was cleaned up.

All 27 units then returned available and command was terminated by 10:50.
